They had 200 total yards going into the final drive. I think the defense did fairly well

But that’s part of the game. Definitely not our cleanest game, but FSU is the most talented team on the schedule aside from UGA.

The problem with the D is the DC. Goodwin is not a great DC. He has stripped the playbook since taking over for BV & we have no exotic blitzes. Every OL we play picks up most of our blitzes because they are not disguised. The LB’s are out of position a lot of times & Goodwin is the LB coach. I’m sure he’s a great guy, a great analyst, but he’s not the guy for the DC. Just keeping it real. A good DC would have this group looking Elite.

We were not getting pressure on Glenn for most of the night, he had all day to stand pack there and pick apart our secondary. They eventually moved Woods inside and that helped, but I noticed he got held quite a bit. I am also not sure he is 100%, although he looked much better in the second half.

It was a good game, their defense is solid. The only major frustration was the inability to put it in the endzone, instead settling for 5 field goals.
