I think it's pretty clear the "program slide" started during the LSU game (we destroyed Ohio State the game before with Jeff Scott). Even though we did win many games handily in 2020, things just weren't the same after LSU especially with the Blue, Black, Green, Pink Lives Matter crap happening in the background.

Eliminated from accomplishing anything of note this season in the month of September.

In this instance… you’re 100% correct. Dabo loves to hear himself talk and when you’re winning national championships then fine…
But when you’re where we are right now… please Dabo… just stop
We are NOT 3 plays away from being undefeated. Idk what tapes he’s watching but I watched those same tapes and I can show 10 plays in the Duke game alone that disproves what he’s saying.
It’s getting downright embarrassing. It’s getting to where he does nothing but patronize this fan base like we’re stupid and don’t see the same exact thing he’s seeing and I’m just about tired of getting talked to and treated like I don’t know this game I’ve watched for over 30 years.

that the 2 fumbles after we had 1st and goal at Duke and the fumble scoop and score vs FSU on their 28 up a touchdown late 3rd cost us these games. Don't see how that doesn't make sense.

Spring rallies here in Columbia, he would offer a few compliments to his team and a whole lot of grounding, as I called it, meaning he sounded awfully negative.
He'd so the same during the season, typically with more criticism, than compliments. I took all that to mean he didn't want cases of swelled egos nor complacency.
Dabo by nature is used to constant pumping of product or people; hence, why I'm not surprised with his statements. It's what I call more of a modern trend, which to me is wet-nursing egos. My time has passed, but in my day somebody's ego or attitudes about disrespect were the last things on our minds. I saw that and participated with that in the Army, in both staff and command positions. We really didn't give a flying sh*t about someone's feelings. Rather, we viewed them as men who needed to get off their assssses and get their frigging jobs done.
At this point, I think Dabo is concerned with overall team morale and is trying in the only way he knows how to keep them focused, The fact is today at least a 10-win season is still on the table. Perhaps, no ACCCG nor playoff spot, but a high win finish...something we have to hope for, also.

It gets sadly little validation amongst our own fanbase, but the 10 win season streak is special. Third all time. 2 seasons away from tying FSU for second. 8-0 regular season or 7-1 with a bowl win gets us there. It shouldn’t be something to scoff at. From where we are today would be an incredible accomplishment both for the season and in the larger picture.

Agreed, it is very unlikely. But I also know that it will instantly be dismissed by the naysayers even if we do it. But we had far worse qb play in 2021 and pulled out 10-3. Total Defense was better that year (2nd versus current 8th) but offense is dramatically better this year (21st versus 82nd). In hindsight, going 10-3 with the 82nd ranked offense was crazy. So maybe they have it in them to do it again.

Look, we outplayed Florida State and it was not close. The Duke game was a different story because of all the turnovers. The defense is really good and the offense will get better as Cade gets more experience, the offense will get better too.
