It’s finally game day! So place your imaginary bets. What do you think the score will be? How many innings do you think Titsworth will pitch today? Who will have the best day hitting? My first instinct is a 7-2 victory for Clemson but I hope we score more runs then that and shut them out. I’ll say Titsworth will pitch 6 innings today and obviously I think Cam will have a good game but I think Jarrell could have more pop in his bat today.

Upstate can hit, Tittsworth throws a lot of strikes. If his location and off speed are dialed in he can go 5+. The Tiger offense from the first 3 games of the ACCT can score at will against Upstate’s starter. I’ve also seen that same offense not be able to hit off of a tee this season. Could be 8-3 Clemson just as easily as it could be 3-2 Clemson. In my opinion.

I really hope the bats pop off today. If we want to go far in this tournament then our bats have to heat up. A good start would be blowing out a mediocre pitching squad. We’ve been up and down with facing a mid pitching staff this year. We sometimes score a bunch of runs off them or make them look like a good pitching team.

Upstate can hit the #### outta the ball, we’re gonna need Drew to eat innings to save the pen but I’m thinking a bit higher scoring. Maybe like a 9-5 ball game

Yea I wouldn’t be too surprised with that score. I’m hoping we pitch as well as we did when we played them earlier this year but postseason is a wholenother level from in season play. You can win a game handily in March then play the same team a couple of months later and it be a close game.

that depends on our plate approach. The Upstate pitcher is good so i am worried we go up there with same old routine of taking strikes and begging for walks. If we get in 0-2 counts a lot then we are in trouble. Upstate can score so we need to be aggressive and hit the ball or we may be in trouble. Not starting Knaak might be a bad decision if we fail to hit like we have most of the season.
