Wood bats and more importantly seeing pitchers who often have 3-4 pitches and are confident to throw any of them anywhere in the count. Kyle Parker didn't hit his weight and Matt Wieters the Ga Tech catcher and relief pitcher who absolutely ate up the ACC in hitting struggled to hit his weight too.Fortunately for Matt, he was an outstanding catcher. He could just be in a slump. Major league pitching is just literally in a league of it's own. I still think hitting a baseball consistently is one of the most difficult things in all of sports.
