What should priority be for DC and OC hires - recruiting or

Proven/effective schemes and game results?

I realize you need both to a large degree, but which is slightly more important?

I see the UGA Kirby hire and he is a better recruiter than he is a game day coach. Especially with QBs. Thus the question that I keep mulling in my head.

Recruiting is the life blood of CFB, I prefer that, I think with Dabo and coaches on staff we can “manage” play calling. Need players, gotten by with good but not great play calling for years.

1. Recruiter
2. Willing to keep our staff
3. Run an organized chaos D like CBV
4. Development strength linebackers and safeties

The ideal scenario is to keep Tod Bowels while still hiring a proven coach. I would hate to promote Bowels who hasn't coordinated anything just to keep him on campus. That would be a desperate move.

The only ones I care about are Dabo and BV. The rest are replaceable. I have no shame.
