What play would you like to see Chad Morris run?

He's the genius, but in my imaginary mind a fake screen to Sammy lined up in the backfield with Bryant going one on one deep would be money. Lets hear what you have.

That might be a play that needs setting up first. Most plays can work, but the stage must be set first.

Rather see him coaching from the side-line, getting a little mature in age to be running with the young guns.
But I understand what you're saying, hope he goes for the throat quick and often

I have on I'd like to see Chad call.....
Aug 20, 2013, 5:36 PM

but it is so different from anything most could imagine, I cannot say anything about it. It's a killer play that will catch a defense flat-footed and make them look like chumps. I don't know if or when he'll run it, but if he does any time this season, I'll let you know.
Nothing (except a win) would make all of you as delighted as seeing this play run successfully. To use one of Dabo's adjectives, it's very "special".

I used to love that play. 3rd and 10, and we call a play that gets the ball in a receivers hands 12 yards short of the first down marker. That was pure genius...

To come out in ace single back a lot to open game, not sure why, but yea Sammy up the gut 1st play vs LSU was mind boggling.
I expect us to pass to set up more run/option plays, and work some jet sweeps and screens in as well.

I would like to see a TD on the 1st play we run from scrimmage. Then I want us to kick to them, have a 3 and out, take the punt down and score a 2nd TD in 2 series; kick to them; get a 3 and out, and then sustain a TD ending drive of 11 plays. We then kick to them. They fumble, and we recover, and immediately score, and the rest of the game is more of the same. The esecpn pundits would spin a great yarn trying to explain that away. That's what I want to see.

They love the 3 wr 1 TE sets, so much more versatile especially if you have a TE that can block and catch, and rb that can catch. Then you get a numbers advantage, especially on option plays. That and you can still send them all out wide.
It's tough to run hurry up 5 wide all the way down the field. You make yourself one dimensional and we don't run an air raid mike leach type of offense.
