What is the issue with Adam Randall?

I remember CDS comparing him at one point to Sammy Watkins.
Watkins stepped onto the field as a freshman and became an IMMEDIATE threat.
I don’t see anything like that from Randall as a comparison to Sammy.

You say that but Dabo said he was ready to step on the field and make an impact. Did he even get a target? Not many other than Williams got more than 2.

You can pretty much ignore a player if Dabo is singing their praises in the Spring. Almost never do those players turn out

He is on the field a lot for someone to get no targets. He was supposed to be a great player. I really hope his knee is the problem and he’s a star next year. We really need it.

Right I follow what your saying, but the question is. Stay with me here. If his acl is the reason no impact is made, then why not redshirt him? The other guys can have the same production as him why not get him completely healthy?

Well, he tore his ACL at the end of the spring camp so the fact that we were able to get him back before the end of the year is actually really good.
As for playing, could be a number of things. It seems like most throws to him are in the stands. He's had a few shots where he could make a plan but they've been few and far between.
Now...Sammy was an immediate threat because he had home run SPEED. Adam Randall IMO has the potential to be a Mike Williams/Tee Higgins clone. Everyone likes to remember their grown up years but they weren't huge impacts as freshman either.

We hear how great the WRs look every off season yet we haven't had a great WR since Tee left. I would recommend not listening to anything you hear about what happens in practice.

His only problem is he is not the first read on any plays. His QB will never see him and can’t hit him most of the time.
