What I Saw

1. Phil Mafah is legit. He & Shipley could be the next Thunder & Lightning.
2. Our WRs are young & inconsistent. Ngata is clearly the alpha (yes, even over Ross), but even he's inconsistent.
3. Our secondary is better than we give them credit for. Not much busted coverage at this point in the season.
4. DJU needs to take some lessons on how to throw the football with some touch, clearly. But it's not all him.
5. Tony Elliott is still a terrible playcaller. Calling a speed option on 3rd & short? "Ask Corso" on NCAA Football '14 wouldn't have done that.
*Bonus* Our running game showed up BIG TIME, our entire defense was solid (not spectacular), and, don't call me crazy, but BT Potter & Will Spiers are playing their best ball!

See the responses below? That's at least 2 people who care what I think.
I'd invite you to come hear me preach in the morning, but I don't think you'd care about what I have to say...

Had to give you a TU for #5 alone. Couldn't have said it better myself. All points were correct but #5 was absolutely spot on. Hey lets give our QB who struggles with the normal RPO a true option pitch. Smh

(And yes everybody else saw it too). Wish selfishly we had him a 4th year but if he keeps playing like he is, first rounder.

Yeah my sister sent me a pic she took of her tv. There were 3 men rally cats. One with a big bushy mustache. It really is sad that this crap has spread so much. It’s hard to see that at my school and not be embarrassed.

I’ll share a secret,

in that Bock was not playing center tonight so our run game had a boost at his natural position.
I’d like to see DJ get out of his head. That would be awesome.

Mafah actually has some wiggle… I personally think he’s the best back we have.

No doubt Mafah is a stud. Big, has some shiftiness for that size and most importantly has good vision from what i saw. However, don’t sleep on pace. Something to be said for a big dependable back who knows what he's supposed to do and where he's supposed to be. Gallmanesque.

Only point I would disagree with is 3. We leaving receivers open every game. Not sure if is scheme or small busts.

I didnt really see very many DB coverage busts, I saw the LB's leaving guys wide open quite a bit though.
