The 4 team playoff was sufficient to make sure the best 2 teams had a chance at the natty. All of this is about $. The college game is gradually turning into semipros.

It’s also the two games which are competing against NFL games, so will be the lowest rated for sure.

Yup just like Netflix just bought the rights for the next women's world cup. It's all about more people buying the streaming service.

Netflix also bought the two NFL games on Christmas Day. I think at 1 and 4 PM - no NFL prime time games on Christmas, big ratings blunder ..

I don’t think CBS/NBC/Fox had much interest in this first round. For NBC and Fox it interferes with the NFL broadcasts. TNT having lost the NBA may be kicking the tires on college football coverage in the future.

is that they're still using ESPN announcers. It's almost like they leased the channel from TNT. I guess they ran out of channels to use with all their megacast ridiculousness.

My head and stays there for a while!!
