What have we become

I am sitting here on a beautiful Thursday worried we are going to loose to Wake Forest. Freaking Wake Forest! Please Dabo for all that is holy do not loose this game and also don't take years off my life doing so.
This years team has been the most stressful and frustrating season. Let's win a game by 21+

Did you just jump on the Clemson bandwagon? Seriously this is no where near the most stressful or frustrating season, even during the Dabo Era.

Meant to say most frustrating in recent years. More frustrating because we aren't playing anywhere near our potential

What if, for the most part, we are playing near our potential? I mean as much as anyone does.
What if we are a high-powered offense that is prone to mistakes, and a stout defense who can sometimes look silly?
What if that's who we actually are, and we're doing well to win (or put ourselves in position to win) despite our shortcomings?
I know we all want to minimize the mistakes, but what if that's just who we are? That's not a knock on us, and the coaches/team will have to work on it, but 10 games in I think we can see a team identity. And despite those areas of concern we are 100% in the driver's seat for the chief goal on the table. We manage to win 5 more games by 1 point each, committing 4 turnovers a game, and giving up chunk yards, and we still hold the trophy at the end of the year.

dropped passes.. penalties.. lack of a running game.. have all been frustrating..
but..
if the turnovers weren't a problem.. there wouldn't have been a single game this season that would have been in doubt... it would've been a stress free season to this point.
but...
and, we didn't look our best many times last year either.. and, we were a pooch kick away from winning it all.
hang on to the ball, and we'll be fine..

You can be sure of one thing . . . .

If we find ourselves deep inside the red zone with a FG in our back pocket, and no need to choose a higher risk to get a TD, Dabo/Elliot/Scott will still lean towards slinging it around unnecessarily. They've proven not to have learned that lesson over the last several years.
AND OH YEAH, if we have a lead to nurse and can easily melt clock to that end, we'll still throw two out of three downs in the series and multiply our opponents opportunities.

You can stop with all the "we" stuff. YOU may be worried. Don't go lumping the rest of us in with that weak sauce.

A heartless, mediocre team that has skimmed by this season. Wasted talent, big egos and lack of effort are the legacy of this year's team. Maybe next year??
