Old guy reporting. Thinking back after '81, just can't believe that there were years when I was elated that we got 2 or 3 guys that were 4 star. Now I feel I have died and gone to heaven.

Their 5*s are 98 and up; they have Carmen as a 96, so a 4*. Only service that doesn't have him as a 5*.
They only did him like that to not make the other schools jealous.

Looking at 247 I count six 5* with addition of Belk and Kendrick.
I think Anna Hickey forgot to include Carman in her most recent write-up.

What do you guys think, does this improve our recruiting rankings. I know that these recruiting ranking don't mean all that much as long as coaches got what they wanted to fill their needs. What I'm saying is, this is the most ever class with 5 star recruits to fill our needs....

I do think we fill our needs again this year, but it seems we are filling it with even more 5 star players than normal. These recruits get it, and we have that "it" factor they are looking for in a school with the whole package. Who (other than alumni) ever would have thought that li'l old Clemson would be such a prominent factor? Answer is anyone with a brain who is not biased. Unfortunately, not too many out there like that.

In my view these upward adjustments are direct evidence of what we already know. This staff is among the very best at identifying young talent and their upside potential. Add to it their ability to develop players once they arrive, and, well, there you go. The best IS yet to come!
