What amazed me with Duke team was

* Oline protected QB so well & 0 sacks.
* Dline equaled or whipped our Oline.
* QB showed good speed when running.
* Team never faltered under adversity.
* Well coached & disciplined.
* RB’s got loose in 4th on our D.
* Good special team play.
* 28-7 score & 7 was a gift!

was there. The sad part is we were still in the game and a few bad plays from winning it as well. As good as Duke played, we beat ourselves with our playcalling and our playmaking.

tackles. So, not saying it's not the LBs fault, but wondering if the defensive playcalls were bad.

Tigers a short field and if they do not fumble going into half-time, that is a swing of possibly 10 to 14 points... Meaning the score "could" have been 31/35 - 0
Imagine that, shut out by Duke with a new high powered offensive guru as OC. It is bad enough at 28-7
Of course you can also say that we gifted them a TD when the QB was all but down and escaped for 40 yard TD... and we fumbled at goal line... and again a fumble inside the 10, both on very good drives after a 3 and out from defense. That score could easily have been 24-13/24-21 Clemson but it was not meant to be.

with all that said we still did not look like a top 25 team not even close out of all the games i watched we were the worst in the top 25 for sure and thats embarrassing even if we would have won.

Duke qb was really good at minimizing bad plays. We pressured him often and he threw it away at least 6 or 7 times. Duke never challenged us downfield really, they found holes in short zones for a lot of 7 yard passes that were thrown quickly.
Our O line wasn't that bad, esp when we ran the ball between the guards with 2 backs, we were starting to gash them. Some of the qb pressure was Cade not moving well in the pocket, plus Duke was playing with deep safeties to prevent downfield passing. There should have been more mid range passes available I would think.
Duke was surprisingly undisciplined, considering their 2 turnovers and several false start and offsides penalties.
Duke had a free rusher from the left side on fg kicks, WTH? Still, the kicker squibbed the chip shot fg.
