Worst halftime ever. Plenty of singers and bands out there and they chose that.

I agree, and I like Kendrick Lamar. But as a musician I really hoped they would have paid tribute to New Orleans' music history.

Put a marching band out there with majorettes and flag twirlers. Use band form Texas aTm, they put on a good show. Or the college band from each years ncaa football championship winning school.

They used to do this back in the day before the halftime show featured a major recording artist. Like late 70s early 80s.

It wasn't amazing but not horrible at all. Way better then the Weekends was imo.

There are no bands like the old days. Ie, the eagles, doobie brother, the Beatles. It’s all single acts now

Honestly I just didn't watch it. Rap is a genre of "music" that I just don't get. If you enjoy Lamar then I hope you enjoyed the halftime show. I grew up in a different era where I got to enjoy people who had great abilities with singing and playing several musical instruments without any computer modifications. That's what I prefer and make no apologies for it. I watch the SB for the football not the entertainment.
