Some of my folks came over on the early boats (very early), and some of my folks came through Alaska a bit ago. Now, I know the land I stand on is mine, if that's possible. I think my country should only allow people in that it wants.
I believe more that America is something that lives more in the spiritual world. Something that was dreamnt by an architect like Jefferson. Perhaps, Kennedy's "Ask not what your country can do for you", or Reagan's "And why can't we? After all, we're Americans".
With this nonsense of thinking Canada should be a state, and we're gonna get Greenland...
I feel much more like we are just a place.

My ancestors were the first to come and I mean the first if the first. I actually have a famous grandfather in that crowd. But anyway, America feels like more than just a place to me. I don’t pretend to know what all the talk about Canada and Greenland is about. I am sure there’s more to the play than the silliness we hear about and see. I don’t want America to become a place. I want America to remain strong and free. All of us want that I assume and hope.

One side of my family were very early 1600's. The other side is only 3 generations deep. Anyway, all Trump's talk is ludicrous, although it would be cool to own Greenland. Seems we would have to use force though.

when we are black-bagging foreign students and flying them to a private detention facility in Louisiana with no due process. Most of Europe has advised travel warnings to the US, Canada has completely banned our products, the free world hates us and children are expected to clean hotel rooms and pick produce. The Brain drain has begun. What an amazing vision the republicans have.
