I'm an "old Millenial" (almost 40), so I'm caught between the old and new generations, and I'm actually glad that schools are closed. I don't have kids, but can't stand the thought of schools forcing kids to go when there's possibilities of tornadoes and bad weather.

Yup, it’s not about the kids in the school buildings. It’s about the kids who may be on busses. High winds broadsiding a bus wouldn’t have a good ending. Now, with e-learning, whether we agree or disagree with it, classes won’t be as far behind.

Weather channel calling for tornadoes. But we are all from different areas so I would definitely plan according to your local news station.

I agree but more students equals more buses. High winds are not a busses best friend. In Charleston they take this seriously because of the bridges. And with the idiotic e learning days now it’s an easy decision for the districts.
