Any lunge expert reviews? Worth the $75 or whatever a year?

video streaming part. If you have Netflix already, it's not worth it, if you don't have Netflix, then it's worth it.

I got it free through a promo and bought a ton of stuff from there. I bought a lot of random stuff like socks and a raccoon trap.

Haven't thought about Amazon Prime

my Leaf antenna is coming in this week. After that I'll be trying hulu and netflix.
I'll have to think about Amazon though. I'd probably make that fee up on shipping.

Well that sucks. The Mohu Leaf works
Nov 19, 2012, 10:33 PM
|
|
It came in today. Picks up all the networks and some I've never heard of in good looking and sounding HD.
Next up is to try the Hulu and Netflix free subscriptions.
Still digging on ESPN, but fully prepared to dump them. I'm going to try setting up again on an approved ISP and then remoting in from here. That used to work, but never for long.
Any of you momos want to send me your ESPN360 ID and Password?

I found it on slickdeals for ~$22. It was a refurb from the manufacturer. It literally feels like a piece of laminated construction paper, but works like magic.

definitely worth it, have made the 80$ back just on free shipping. The selection of free Movies and tv shows will keep you busy for about 3 months, but they do not add new titles as often as netflix.

Not worth it if you are only taking advantage of streaming.

The movies that are free for streaming are much older. The good titles and new releases you still have to pay for.

Have both Netflix and Amazon prime.

Honestly, Amazon prime seems to have as much as Netflix. I've considered dropping Netflix. We have Amazon prime because we do a lot of online shopping, so we make the fee back on the shipping. But, the movie selection is comparable to Netflix.

Here's the little known secret about Amazon Prime.
Nov 19, 2012, 10:27 AM

You can share it with up to 3 or 4 family members (they get the free shipping).
My father and father in law are both on my acct at no charge.
If you wanted to, find someone else who wanted it, and didn't care about the video streaming, and just get them to flip you $20-30. It's a win-win, and they would probably come out ahead just from having their Christmas gifts shipped.

Around Christmas it works great

but, I can always manage to spend $25 at amazon and get the super saver shipping. I just keep a watchlist full of items I need and use them as filler when I make a purchase. Also, the 2 day shipping is fast, but honestly Amazon refuses to slow their shipping down when using SuperSaver shipping. They say they will group the products together to save money but add time, but they don't, and if it's from a Amazon distribution hub, I get it next day.
