It's funny how when guys commit to Clemson they seem to lose status with the recruiting services and when a 4 star commits to Bama they manage to pick up that elusive 5th star.

You are right but, I still haven't learned why recruiting sites like Rival, 247, ESECPN have always been down on anything Clemson bc they all seem to make me feel that they don't like Clemson at all. Have we sued them or something that I didn't know about.

It's not paranoia, it driven by capitalism and profit. When the number one recuit commits early, what does a recuiting service have to sell for the whole next year? They would much rather have the number prospect remain uncommitted for as long as possible. A tight recuiting battle for number generates a lot of clicks. Its easy to fix by simply naming a new number one, even when the HS season is over their is no new data or reason to change the ratings. Also once ESPN invested in the SEC network, you better believe they are going to protect that investment with over the top hype, even when it's fictional contrary to what is unfolding on the field. I don't see this as hate to Clemson but business people acting in a less than genuious way to help profit their enterprises.

XT has been number on ESPN since before TL committed. TL still is number overall on Rivals and the number one QB on ESPN.

Everyone in liberal media hates us because they ain't us! Even when they don't hate us, they hate us. Everyone should love us but they are all against us. All of them.
Does ESPN have a corporate bias? Yes.
Do many of the on air talent at ESPN tow the company line? Yes
Just live with it or get your buddies together and go all hostile takeover on Disney. Then go into Rupert Murdoch mode and create your own network to further the Clemson agenda.

Rivals Mike has been high on Clemson a lot lately, bunch of props for the high quality small class, picked us to win it all this year, etc.
