If you look at Clemson as is what are they? Undefeated with two wins better than Bama's best win... Hmmm I smell conspiracy. And if they say eye test what do they mean . We have almost as good defensive statistics and better o stats.

If you look at Baylor's resume without their loss, they look really good too.

He's right. They do look really good. But the loss, when

the committee looks at it, is the weight that brings Bama from #1 to #2.
In fairness...Bama looked much more dominant than we did last week. So, the point he makes is valid.

Against a miss st. team that is over-hyped, over-ranked and really hasn't played anybody. Bammer gets all this SOS love and it is because they play in the over-hyped/over-ranked sec. You can't praise their so called quality wins and ignore our wins. Not to mention. nd lost in a driving rain storm. We are penalized for beating nd at home by 2 points, because we played under blue skies in that game. They might have looked good the last few weeks, but the struggled at home against a lame tennessee team. This is never mentioned. We struggled on the road against Syracuse. We won games we played bad in(3 turnovers), bammer didn't(5 turnovers ole siss).

I agree a 25 point win over a top 20 team that is 7-2
Nov 18, 2015, 6:43 AM

is no better that a solid 10 point win over a 3-6 ACC team, because in reality everyone knows that the SEC is over rated because there are teams in the SEC with bad losses. The ACC is under rated because there are teams in the ACC with some good wins and good close losses.
We were penalized for our loss against ND otherwise we would be ranked ahead of Bama. I'm not talking about the current rankings, I'm talking about the real rankings that they will use in the future when it counts.

the ND game CANNOT be mentioned without "in the rain"
Nov 18, 2015, 8:31 AM

like the rain was the sole determining factor in who won.
How many games have been played in the rain this season? Just that one, according to the ESPN pinheads. Been a dry year for eveybody else.

I get that even good teams stumble sometimes, but that was a bad loss AT HOME to a team that is arguably not a top 25 team this year. You can't just cast that aside. Well, you shouldn't be able to anyway. Losses should be punitive, and apparently they are to everyone EXCEPT Alabama.

out no matter what. Swap the score on the ND even and I don't think the committee puts us at 4.
The Alabama's and ND's of the world definitely get preferential treatment.

I'm certainly no ND fan, but they're the ones with the real beef. They lost to the No 1 team while Alabama lost to the currently No 25 team. Factor in the closeness of ND's and the beatdown bama took if you want to be fair. Bama should be a notch or two below ND.

I think Bama does have the best team right now. They are currently playing the best as well. If were jelling though come time of the playoffs we can beat anyone. Our team the last couple of weeks would lose to Bama imho. I bet on us before the season at 22-1 odds, so don't think I don't believe in us. I just honestly think Bama is better right now.
