Sunday when I was a young boy...He said," Folks ...preachers always say you need to give until it hurts...Well, I have always felt you should give.....UNTIL IT FEELS GOOD..." About 20 years ago while I was walking into the sanctuary a little five year old girl was chomping on gum...I said,"you got another piece...." and she said,"Well ...I only have the one...but I'll share..." ..My wife said, "You can't take her last piece!"..and I said,"I sure can....I am not going to let her miss out on the joy of giving!!".....That Christmas...she received a special gift in her mailbox and a hand written letter from Santa.....She has grown into a very special young lady...But, by 5 years old...her parents had taught her to share!! Most people never know the joy that can be had by both parties!!!

Not to rub it in Spud, but I think I’m only a few miles away from you and we’ve had power since Friday. It only went out for about 6 hours. Are you on Combined Utilities, Duke or Blue Ridge?

Glad your power is back. I was in your area to check on a house with a Piedmont address but about a 1/2 mile from Powdersville. She got her power back last night. It's still bad over there. HWY 81 is closed past the YMCA and Grace Church. Because of the prior closed roads and detours, 81 being closed and the detours around that, it took about 1-1/2 hour for a 45 minute trip. I altered my course for the return trip and made it back to Six Mile just short of an hour.
