If she's a screamer, she'll get you arrested.

Seems like that would be something you fill up before a flight.***

Crass's flown planes with fuel leaks, sadly

But that's not how this works. Anything airworthy would just be a very small trickle, like Crass's crank.

Now people do test the limits of their fuel reserves. Crass has ne'er done that. Just not into it.

Above all else, love and forgive. Understand that people who disagree with you are not necessarily idiots or your enemies. Respect the wisdom of the founding fathers and individual rights and freedoms. Always see the beauty and humor in life.

I shoulda been there.

Steve Gaines

4

was powering a tremendous evolution of the band, as evidenced by his impact on Street Survivors.

They were set to be a 100-200% better version of themselves with his contribution.

#### it.

Truthiness.

3

I think Steve Gaines may have ended up overshadowing the entire band if he had lived.

Skynyrd was set to play Huntsville Alabama in the Spring of 77, I had a

I never saw Lynyrd Skynyrd but I sure saw Ozzy Osbourne with

Randy Rhoads in 82 right before that plane crash.

And I never saw Lynyrd Skynyrd but I sure saw AC/DC with Bon Scott singing, "Let There Be Rock Tour".

in '77 I was negative 5. I did see Skynyrd when they toured with ABB early 2000s. ABB was great, LS opened that night and we made it in by the time they were playing some halfasss version of Freebird and all the rednecks were going NUTS. Then they all left because they didn't want to watch the hippies in the Allman Brothers Band play and we got great lawn seats and had a good ole time.

Well, I was 4 in 77 but did not have a ticket to that show. I was too

1

Oct 20, 2023, 3:07 PM [ in reply to Whoa. Just Whoa. ]

I don't know, an extra hour it seems like, is just too long. The studio version is fine. And I do like a lot of long jam band tunes, but they're not as repetitive.

2025 white level memberbadge-donor-20yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Is repetitive worse than, equal to, or better than a band sounding like they

ones that descend into noodling around, not so much. Actually, 10 min is prolly the outside limit for me for any song.

I saw them sometime in the '70s in Charlotte, Ronnie was wasted,
