At some point squirel has to stop recruiting players with "potential"and "upside"...it takes a lot of work to recruit players who already have "game" and are not projects... sure, every once in a while even a blind squirrel finds a nut. It's time we stop recruiting players who have the Radfords, Elons and Middle Tenn St as some of their "favorites". KJ McDaniels finds don't fall in your lap that often.

with offers from Kentucky, UNC, Duke, etc. and miss on all of them so they can jump to the NBA a year later. Who do we get at the last minute, more Cory Stanton's? Maybe you should let Brownell know about your groundbreaking idea of recruiting more top players because I'm sure he's not thought of that yet.

You do have a valid point. I know we're not going to get the UK, UNC, Dukee types, but I would like to at least take a shot and offer. I do believe we should be competing with the Nc State, Uga, Fsu, Usc (the fake one), etc for players and not the Radfords, Unc Greensboros and Ball States of college basketball if we want to also be taken as a serious BBall school. I think we have to set higher sights to achieve higher levels.
