Only 3 yards caught by the best hands on the team.

Our tightends.
Just another example of why someone should lose their job.

If we would’ve continued running the ball in a two back set

our passing woes would have been non issues in this game. But yes, the continuous throws to the sideline was just being plain hard headed.

Throws over the middle are the most risky and difficult

especially for a QB that can't see what is in front of him and deliver the ball accurately and on time.

over the middle is risky (every throw is risky) but not as hard as out routes, etc.

Our QB and offensive coordinator are scared to death of attempting anything other than sideline passes. 3rd and 4 with the defense covering the short outside zone: then throw a 30 to 40 yard fly route prayer. Very imaginative.

....... plus 90 mph fastballs thrown to a receiver 10 yards in front of you result in balls glancing off hands, helmets, referees, etc. to safeties and linebackers!

I think Cade has more completions over the middle in his limited time then DJ has over the season

Exactly. Two-All-American caliber TE's and they get a total of 2 targets all game. Tisk-Tisk!
Adjustments anyone?

been saying that for 2 seasons...
Miami game 1st half was a unicorn...
Other teams can also see that ...
We also don;t have any pre snap adjustments or moves to take players out of the play, like putting a back in motion to take the linebacker out of the play and open a slant or skinny post underneath the safety..
We also don't have much of much if any mis direction (example the pass to Price against Miami)...
And the reality is we don't have a starting QB who see's the entire field, he is slow on reads, never throws backside even when those guys are open by 15 yards (because he doesn't look)... never checks down... if it is not there he throws it away... which is better than last year when he would try and force it in... he doesn not seem to incorporate the situation and what we need (we need 5 yards he throws a 40 yarder) DJ is what DJ is... so much potential... he's like a freshman that maybe with enough time could get to the next level... he's clearly not there yet.
