We need to remember if BIG AND SEC plan to have 2 super conferences

And they will be in a league of their own...the conferences will end up with 24 to 32 teams. This means each conference will be divided into 2 divisions, each having 2 six to eight team pods. In this scenario... most of the games we play will be against teams in our pod. It'll actually be like the old days when conferences had 8 or 9 teams you'd play everyone...only difference now is after winning your pod you play other pod in your division in first round playoff for a chance to play winner of other division. We'd only see, at most, 3 non pod games each year in regular season...and that being rotated among the other 18 or 24 teams would mean you'd probably only have 1 sorry team to play and at the worst weather wise 2 cold weather games. Remember half of these games would still be played at home.

I do not think SEC or BIG will add any more teams for a couple years. This allows them to renegotiate tv contract every few years if market will pay more. Thats why BIG added usc and ucla after SEC adding ut and ou so they both stay on same level of conference pay out. Afraid we will be in ACC for at least 2-3 years even if we are next team invited to SEC or BIG.
