We need Josey Wales as a sports psychiatrist--seriously

We have not overcome the mentality of getting nervous and being scared about losing. There was no swagger or confidence and yes some of the offensive play calls baffled me but hard to know what a coach is thinking. We went through mechanics and managed to tie the game and then we folded mentally. People were not getting open, you could see them downfield looking at Tajh run and doing nothing. The talent is there as is the ability to coach but we just don't have the arrogance and smugness we need. SC played like their coach's mentality which, even though offensive to all of us, has brought them to the mindset they can win any game. We seem to just not want to lose. It's like Josey Wales said "Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is."
I will say that this is the first time in five years where we did get manhandled and beat physically. We honestly looked like the better team most of the time (but we just played like crap = six turnovers).
That being said.. When things don't go our way we get our head down and look all sad and defeated. Tajh gets visibly down and mopes around on the sideline. I would much prefer fury and anger...
