to pull out old film and use a lot of the plays he had in his offense. Things we're asking for now - misdirection, lot of motion to occupy linebackers, H-backs, use of tight ends, etc. He would ###### the first 10 or 12 plays and there were games where the defense had no idea where we were coming from. Also,he believed we had to throw at least 5 deep routes per game. Almost unheard of things in our 5 play offense.

I'm not sure old film of when Chad Morris was here is gonna change that for us right now. Our problem is more than play calling. It's 9 new starters that's the biggest issue.

We're simply going to have to hope they get lucky along the way, stay injury free and keep getting better each game.

Several things happened.

1) We had 2 career ending injuries (and a transfer) in the past 3 years on the O'line may be the biggest issue. It severely compromised our depth this year.

2) Then, Dabo and/or Robbie decided to "get the best 5 on the oline" and move 3 of the 4 returning starters from last year into new positions on the line. This meant only 1 returning starter on the OLine. ---- I think this is the biggest mistake made this year by the coaches.

3) We didn't seek help in the transfer portal, when we lost 3 players to injury or transfer. Another mistake, IMO.


I think there is more, but these are 3 most obvious areas and the base level for our issues. Fix the oline, and other things are will start to come together.
