Just saying..if it's good enough to honor him & his service to our Country..then it's good enough a color for me to wear for one game..especially since it's our school color (called Northwest Blue, I believe).

I love the people on here that think they are bigger than the University by wearing orange on a purple out. I'm guessing none of them are over 6 feet and have been picked on their whole life. It is actually comical that you think you're cool by saying, "I'm not wearing purple." Wahhhh wahhhh wahhh you sound like a bunch of babies.

FYI I'm 6'1" 235 lbs 60 years young
By no means am I trying to disrepect our brave men and women who are-have-or going to serve.
Members of my immediate family have served our country since the Civil War and my oldest son is deployed now.
If the current student body wants to wear purple thats fine with me. I've been wearing Orange to Clemson Tigers Games since 1959 not about to change now just to fit in.
Good luck on changing the Orange-White Cheer
