May have to surrender my pumper card, but

I don’t have a very good feeling about next Saturday. There are a number of factors that worry me:
1) FSU playing with a lot more confidence than us 2) Extra motivation for FSU to break our winning streak 3) our QB is inexperienced, and still makes some questionable decisions 4) FSU offense has playmakers all over the place, and they ain’t Duke
I will say that I was encouraged by an uninspiring effort by the Noles against BC, and our first half performance against FAU. FSU’s defense appears “gettable”, but our second half was a bit worrisome. I know we played a lot of young guys and the game was already decided, but I didn’t see much to give me confidence in the second half.
Anyway, we can certainly win, and that is what I will be pulling my a$$ off to see. As BC and Duke have shown, anything can happen on any given Saturday.it’s a tossup, and we are at home, so if we can get a solid start and keep the crowd engaged, I like our chances.
Go Tigers! Scalp the Noles!

Agree. After watching a lot of good teams yesterday, we have no playmakers anywhere near the same level!

No home run hitter in the backfield. FSU won’t be flat. They were yesterday. Going to be a difficult afternoon.

Crowd will have to be a factor when they have the ball.

I respect your transparency. I agree with your whole post. Sorry you will lose some of those points for being honest.

If we could put ourselves in FSUs shoes

we’d be worried. FSU barely beat a bad BC team and are facing a team that is clearly improving in Clemson. It’s all perspective. I’m not saying we win or lose, but we as fans have a tendency to not be able to see it from the other side.

Go back and look at the stats. Go back and look at the game. If you haven’t seen improvement from week 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 then you aren’t paying close attention.

FSU practiced for Clemson all last week.

We practiced for them. That's how the world works. FSU beat BC on pure talent and we beat the Owls the same way.
We don't know what's going to happen and yes, FSU is the most talented team we'll face during the regular season.

I dont think is close to FSU, but.

I think it will be close and we have a good chance to win. Just like when the mediocre TB coached 2004 team that beat #3FSU team after getting destroyed by wake.
FSU has only won once in Clemson since 2001.
Our fans also have a false sense of confidence so the atmosphere will be there.

I too was happy to see them come back to Earth vs BC but some of that was likely them looking ahead to this week's game–
