Best case for this season?

It’s early in the season, but championships are pretty much out of reach and others looking dicey. We’d have to be perfect from here with help from Duke and FSU dropping at least 3 games. The team mostly played well today, but we continue to fall apart in the critical moments. So recalibrating expectations and goals for this season, what’s still possible/reasonable?
- beating South Carolina
- 10+ win streak
- finishing ranked
- hoping we could get a bowl matchup against another program with high name recognition

Honestly 8 wins. Cuse, miami, UNC, scar all tough games. ND is scary to me considering what they did to Clemson last year.
Worst case 5 wins.
Best Case 9 wins in regular season.
I hope Dabo keeps these recruits committed Wesco and Moore will be needed day 1.

The only game that matters now is the coots. Unfortunately, I give us 50\50 at best in that game. They are pretty even with FSU.

this year than it was two years ago. The remaining teams on our schedule are pretty much ALL better than they have been at any point in recent times, with the possible exception of the Nancies, who will still be no pushover.
Any combo of 9-3 with a bowl win, or 10-2 with a bowl loss, ain't going to be easy to come by. But, if the team plays with the heart they showed today, it is still certainly at least POSSIBLE, if not PROBABLE.
There is too much talent on this roster for us to give up on them. They certainly won't give up on themselves. All they have to do is watch the film to know that they competed on more than an equal basis with the #4 team in the country today. Our own mistakes doomed us, not what Florida State did to us.

7-8 wins is best case. If we keep running Shipley up the middle predictably and throwing screens as a staple of our offense 7 wins will be the absolute best.
