I will browse T-Net on desktop, and I will get redirected to a McAfee popup site all of the sudden. Anyone else having the same issue?

I was getting that too. I had to log out of TigerNet, delete the history and cookies from my browser, and then log back in. I haven't had a problem with it since.

if you unwittingly installed a trial version, or dear lord help you, paid for it. You literally need to buy a new hard drive and start from scratch, you will never get rid of it. It is a magnet for unwanted notifications. You turn them off, they turn themselves back on again. it will set your ddefault search engine to Yahoo, you will set it back to google, and then it will just set it back to yahoo again, rinse repeat. It is a scourge, get rid of it and use Kaspersky if you want an unobtrusive Virus protection suite thata ctually works.

Yes really irritating. I went to settings and made some changes and it stopped them. None today!

Just got another one. On mobile devices android OS running chrome in desktop mode. I ran the dev tools all day on my win10 VM but couldn't get it to replicate. It only seems to happen on my phone.

But, I tend to use other internet browsers besides the Big 3 ... Chrome, Edge, and Safari. Not sure if that really affects the redirects, though.

Use the Brave browser. It stops that.
