We are undefeated in conference play...

And are biggest home game against a conference opponent is a night game this Saturday. The Athletic Department is offering Buy One Get One (BOGO) Upper Deck seating to help fill the stadium. Cost of ticket is $80 dollars. So you get 2 for $40. Doubt it lasts, but I am assuming these are returned Louisville Tickets..

We are not selling out. ITs not because our team is bad. So its either the competition or the tickets are just do darn expensive. Louisville, while not ranked, is pretty good. Was probably the 2nd hardest game on the schedule when the season started.

So I can only assume the second one. When they reseat the valley next year (my assumption), the upper deck is going to have a lot of available seating. No one wants to sit in the upper deck for some of the teams that we play. And especially not for $80 a ticket (not counting IPTAY donation).

Revenue sharing is going to be ugly.

Going to try my best to be there Saturday night. Will be the first game in 3 years I will be able to attend. I am stoked!

Seems rare that death valley has ever sold out unless it is a top 10 matchup or the coots. Even when the game is technically a sellout because of season tickets etc, there is usually tons of open seats in the corners.

Also, I prefer upper deck unless the lower deck tickets are high up.

I've always preferred the lower level, but the lower level, but in the UC through the UG section right below the press boxes. Best seats in the stadium IMO!!!

Back in the day, Clemson was lucky to have one or two games on television per year. If you wanted to see them play, you had to attend the game.

Nowadays, every game is televised somewhere. Old, lazy folks like me who don’t live in the upstate, just watch from our lounge chairs. I used to go to every home game and some away games. Now I attend a couple of games per year and most of the championship/playoff games. I will be in attendance Saturday. Go Tigers!

Old lazy folks like me living in AZ are very happy we have more TV coverage now...

That was with me also back in the day before my back injury made those trips to difficult, and even then I cut back to just 2-3 games a season until I just couldn't do it anymore. Say what you want about the comforts of home watching the game on TV, but for me, there's nothing like being in the stands especially when our Tigers are kicking the chit out of whoever we're playing, the tailgating and the game inside the stadium is addictive!!!!!

I agree. You can’t beat the atmosphere at Clemson, and I love the tailgating.

This will be my first game at Death Valley in 7 years since moving away from South Carolina. Very excited to be there and experience everything I’ve missed during the last 7 years. Bought tickets on secondary market and almost $500 for 3 tickets in west end zone. Fees were $40 per ticket. Ticket prices and economy definitely impact a lot of non season ticket holders. Hopefully after election things will get better and not more of the same!

The only thing that will bring down ticket prices is lack of demand, and we are starting to see some of that.

My Dad was a SLED agent back in the 60's and 70's and Clemson would send him 20 tickets almost every week in order to help fill the stadium. Also our high school football coach would take us to many games and we got in for $2. "Times they are a changing!"

Look at our tuition back then compared to now... crazy how much inflation we have seen since the 70s. Literally, one semester of my daughter's college at another out of state school was more than my 4 years at Clemson. In fact, a half semester would have still covered my 4 years.

Yep, I've also seen the times that tickets could be bought anywhere around the stadium for $10-$15 bucks for big time match up games, but that's been 30 years ago, those days have long gone, and I've read and on here that tickets can't be found right at the stadium unless it's from someone on the way in with 1 maybe two tickets for sale cheap... I always bought my tickets from an older black man that set up on the side of the road coming in from the back way, he would have a stack of them, and really good seats if you come through early as I always did...

That's cheap. Try buying a ticket in Neyland. ALL season tickets were sold out which was over 70,000 and there is a waiting list of 15,000 wanting to buy one. The remaining 32,000 tickets go to student, visiting team, etc. to make up the 102,000 that attend games. Bama tickets were going for 300.00 to 500.00 each if someone would sell one. Good competition sells games.

I believe that it's more of the cost issue just for one game. A family with two kid the age of let's say 10, 11, it would eat the grocery money for that week. They have priced the average to middle class families out of the college game, and it's all bc of TV rights that they battle over every dang year.

College FB stadiums the size of Death Valley and bigger are Fastly becoming a thing of the past, a 25,000 seat stadium will be the norm not long from now!!!

.....Uhhh, not in the SEC. You are right. It's crazy what it costs to attend a game now.....and you have to make a sizeable contribution, here, to be able to buy season tickets. That doesn't even account for the cost of the trip, parking fees, the cost of food is outrageous as well.

Your question answers itself.

The best conference game we have is against an I ranked team. The league and the schedule suck this year. And the programs in it generally suck and are uninspiring. No one wants to see us play garbage team after garbage team. Although the ACC provides the easiest path to the playoffs, I can’t wait to get out of this trash conference.
