If Watson gets hurt. Cole will be gone and Schuessler will have next to no experience. Other than him, we have two true freshman quarterbacks. Unless they are truly phenomenal, which is rare and we are spoiled with Watson, we are absolutely screwed should something happen to Deshaun. At this point, I think Cole should start for senior day and play one or two drives, and Nick should play the rest of the game.

We are too thin at QB due to the Chad Kelly dismissal. Hard to blame Dabo for that one.

I'm not blaming Dabo for that. Kelly did everything he could to get kicked off, and I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did. I'm just saying, now he has to deal with this situation and I don't think he's doing a good job preparing for the future.

For anything. Never missed classes or meetings.
Whatever he did to get kicked off was outside of official rules, maybe violating code of conduct.

I guess you're assuming Watson gets named the starter over the upperclassman Schuessler. That's not really a given.

Well, they can't have the RBs running the ball when they fumbled once like three games ago. What choice do the coaches have but keep them out of the game? Now, if they could throw a couple of pick 6's, they'd be right up there with Michael Jordan, according to Coach.

You may be right.......but watching highlights of Kelley Bryant have me a little optimistic. I know he would be a true freshman, and not everyone is a talented as DW, but he looks like he could run chads offense with better effectiveness than ns or stoudt for that matter. He might redshirt, he might not.

We've had pretty good luck w recruits. I don't know if they took a chance w Kelly and we're surprised or not. Seems his hs moving around should have been a warning. Maybe they thought he could be kept in line.

You can bet Watson will put on some weight/muscle in the offseason. I expect him to get up to at least 215-220, I think i'll be fine. The last 2 were freak injuries, he's proven to be a fast healer if anything.

Bryant is perfect for this offense, Israel has a nice arm and is athletic unlike Stoudt who is a statue and has a wet noodle arm
