Some of us are old enough to remember Danny's run. I do, I am 50 yrs old, and my first trip to DV was 1977 ND game, where my late Pop, a fanatic ND fan said, "Christ, they have 14 orange jerseys on defense". Folks, we are here to stay. Dabo has taken this program to another level. Character, talent, etc., we are what everyone wants to be. Savor it...absorb it. This is priceless. Do not take this for granted or feel insecure. Win or lose Monday night, Clemson is where not many schools are. We are in the stratosphere....Act like we belong. Screw the little school in the hills BS. We are a CFB powerhouse, period. We are where we we will reside for years. Bama is a speedbump. They all want to BE us. Roll #### Tigers. Roll ###### ROLL.

Bama has won 5 since 93. 2.5 Times more than clemson in their entire history.
Alabama is historically great team team. Clemson needs about 5 more title to be historically great.

Let's also remember many of those were earned by the voter based system by OU and Bama. They won on reputation sometimes.
Bama would have been the National Champion in the old voter / bowl system several more times without the existence of the playoff where they had to earn it. By the way they have only done once.

Bama may CLAIM 16 titles, but most of those were just voted on by SOME obscure organization. Some years, there were five or six "national champions". We have had only three years of an actual playoff, to earn a national championship. We have won one, Bama has one!

I’m not sure why a person that pulls for dirtpeckers would have an opinion on their Daddy’s message forum or think their opinion matters. Your he!!hole school is never going to be significant in athletics except horsies and women’s B.B. They didn’t even win a bowl game until recently. Clemson is now and has always been ten times the Academic and Athletic superior University. That cockroach stadium is an eyesore

What an amazing atmosphere there was in Death Valley that day. I immediately fell in love with Clemson and knew that is where I would attend college.

Clemson is an elite program today.. but we're not blue bloods.. blue bloods are HISTORICAL powerhouses.. Ohio st, bama, so cal, notre dame, Oklahoma... maybe a couple more..
Yes, we have beaten, if not dominated, some of these teams recently (past 5-6 years) but.. we're not blue bloods.. that takes DECADES of elite relevance.. and we're not there yet..

Not just recently. Remember Woody Hayes last game? We have won some big games not just recently but historically. Also, remember we were a military school prior to the 50s. Most of those players winning at Bama and ND would have been run out of Clemson back then.

Yes, Clemson will be new money for sometime.
We won't get an invite to join the club for a long while. However, we are now on the Christmas Party list which is a good start.
