I thought Tiger fans could handle losing

We have been blessed with winning on a scale few teams have ever experienced but it’s not like every team/school doesn’t lose.
It’s really sad to see so many here support go out the window with a lose to a conference foe who has a good team at their place in the first game.
The crappy and mean things said about a team your apart of changes so drastically with a loss in the first game it might be time to evaluate your loyalty to anyone or anything that may not be perfect.
On one hand I get it because I only know one who had perfection, he gave all for us so we could saved by His laying down His life for us knowing that we would sin and need repentance of all our sins. Jesus was perfect and will never let you down, he’s the same yesterday, today and forevermore, all you have to do is repent and ask him to be Lord of your life, he will never let you lose but you will have challenges. Your eternity will be decided!!
It’s going to be ok guys this team will rebound and still have a great season, perfect no but great yes. Clemson is a great university with a very good not perfect football program, most football fans would love to have our track record wins and losses than theirs.
I’m still 100 % a Clemson fan, but if we lose the next 11 games, I’ll still be a fan just a disappointed one.
We are much better off than you may believe, it comes down to some teenagers deciding to play to their potential, Dabo is a great motivator so we will be in good shape.

How was it "handled?" The offense missed two field goals and fumbled twice. That's execution.

Even had everything gone right, we would still have struggled to beat Duke. DUKE! Something is badly broken with this program and its extremely frustrating to watch. I wont apologize for being frustrated and know we could and should be better than what we have witnessed of late.

honest criticisms and questions . . .
I don't think the unhinged rantings and ravings that have (vastly) dominated this board for the past few days qualify as either.

It's not just the loss that has fans so down...it's the fact that most of us who aren't making 11 million dollars a year can see the problems and whats going wrong and yet the paid professional isn't even trying to fix it....
Yall always say "Dabo won 2 titles, who are you to question him"
But the fans have been saying for 3 years exactly what Dabo is doing wrong and where his problems are and we have been spot on while he has let the program decline....
It's pretty sad when guys like me who's a fan of clemson but has never been on a sideline or apart of a football team past high school can sit back and point out the problems with the program and tell you guys exactly how Dabo is failing and be right about it and yet Dabo who's a life long cfb guy and making millions because of his iq in building a program can't out think ME at this point...
I believe that's the issue fans have ...not the loss
We just can't understand how guys like us see the issues, but one of the greatest cfb coaches in history can't

If all the suggestions here on TNet were implemented, the team would go 1-11.

Yall keep saying this. But the guys here yall always bash, have Been right while Dabo has been wrong for 3 years now...
The truth of the matter is, he either revamps his coaching staff and stops the nepotism and gets in the portal heavy or 9 win seasons is our ceiling from here on out.... Dabo hasn't done anything in 3 years to warrant anyone saying he's moving in the right direction except hire Riley and that doesn't do any good if he's just here to run "clemson offense "

With respect, how can us fans really know what's going on? Most of us are busy with the pressing issues of our own life, big time college-football is so complex it would be difficult for anyone to have a handle on all of it. So how can we know? All we know for certain is that the team performed well below expectations Monday night. Dabo is ultimately responsible, but given all he has shown us he can do I'm hardly ready to villainous him.

Define”guys like us” is the key. Guys who want perfection and love to repeat their lack of satisfaction if things are otherwise.

He does see the issue, and he is trying to fix it. The reality is that Clemson is always fighting an uphill battle compared to the Alabamas and Georgias of the world. Believing in fairytale won't do you any good.

For me I hadn’t mentally prepared to lose this one. I had only heard that FSU and ND would be tough wins. Now those games are must wins.

The issues have been clear for many years. Refusing to address them is resulting in self inflicted wounds. Clemson Football does not operate under some special mandate of heaven that shields it from reality. The New Spring corporate "church" model has run its course.
Men are flawed. Pride is funny thing.

I have been a fan for over 50 years and Dabo is the goat
No one else even comes close and look at all the other programs
His players graduate, get degrees and we wins a ton of games
Get real
I didn't get any sleep after that loss and hopefully we get better

We can't handle 3 years of straight decline of an elite program and delusional excuses to cover it up.

the coaches do.
Disagreeing with something we see on the field, or questioning why something was done, is allowed.
I haven't seen anyone here pull their support of Clemson football, but I have seen people voice concerns and critiques. That's a healthy part of being a committed fan.
