In any sport. Any time. Always happy with a win.
I don't want Brad fired, at least not this year. Like I said in another post, I want to like Brad. I am trying to like Brad. But I believe KJ had more to do with our record this year than coaching. If Brad can't find another KJ soon his days may be limited.

Should we penalize Brad Brownell for going out and finding a 5* athlete in K.J. and developing him into a 5* player?

It is a simplistic notion to suggest it is all due to natural raw talent or that it is all due to coaching. OF COURSE it's a combination.
But a HUGE part of coaching is recruiting and developing talent, and that, in the case of KJ, is a feather in Brad's hat.

Brad Brownell goes out and gives K.J. his only ACC offer. He also goes out and finds kids like Nnoko and Hall. Maryland has signed 5 4* players in the last 3 years, but our 3* sophomores are better, and yet still no credit. Again, we are 9-7 in the ACC.

According to several of their fans. A school with a built in recruiting advantage would love a coach like B.B.

Well your basketball IQ isn't showing to be very strong...so I was calling you a bandwagon basketball fan for even insinuating Brownell needs to go at this time. I'm glad you've supported Clemson and I'm happy you've been a fan longer than I've been alive...I will do the same.

And we'd all be foolish to say we knew Brad was is the guy to be at Clemson forever and bring long term sustainable success. That is simply not something we can predict.
However, he does get credit where credit is due, and this team overachieving is to his credit.

If you take the best player off our team we wouldn't be that good. Well, I'm pretty sure you could say that with any team. If you took Trevor Booker off of O.P.'s teams they wouldn't be that good.

and they wouldn't be that good either, so I guess Marshall is on the hot seat. Take McDermott off of Creighton and they just aren't that good either. Take Nick Stauskas off of Michigan and they are pretty terrible as well.
