Definitely chantix, it is the best I've ever had. Prepared perfectly. And I'm not even a smoker.

What's the BBQ place in Anderson just off the main drag?

Feb 5, 2016, 10:55 AM

Its in the bottom level of a old building ... Creek something ?

Our son took us once ... can't remember the name ...

Portions are a bit overwhelming. We liked it.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Creek side bbq

Feb 5, 2016, 11:55 AM

it's just as good as smoking pig if not better.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I usually get the brisket sandwich combo with sweet potato

Feb 5, 2016, 10:56 AM

fries drizzled in honey. The brisket is so tender and falls out of the sandwich because it is overstuffed.

Not a big fan. Dont like the smoke after taste, their bbq is the only one I can taste 4 or 5 hrs afterwards.

I think you're mistaking this good thing for a bad thing.
What you're describing... is a good thing :)

Brisket sandwich. Pork is too easy to make good, Brisket takes some skill.
I've never had Brisket anywhere close to aa good as the smoking pig.

Junior brisket sandwich. Save like 4 bucks and it's basically the same size. Plus if you ask they'll give you a free roll.

2024 student level member flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Anything, just make sure you get banana pudding***

We were planning on eating there after the WF game. Ended up in bumper to bumper traffic and passed it. Sure as hell wasn't turning around to go back. Really want to eat there. I live/grew up right down the road from Scott's BBQ (Called Rosie's around here) and Big D's so our expectations are pretty high.

Get the brisket

Feb 5, 2016, 11:56 AM

I always get slaw and the sweet potato casserole with mine. DELICIOUS!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Get the Combo Platter....

Feb 5, 2016, 12:04 PM

It comes with pork, brisket and ribs. It also comes with two sides. I usually get the sweet potato crunch and cole slaw.

I believe the platter is between $18.00 and $20.00

The cobbler and the banana pudding are good too.

Bring your money and your appetite.
