Got all of his passing yards in spite of our offensive line. Our pass protection is garbage. Some plays guys could not have reached him faster if there was no offensive line.

CK would hang in there to get the throw off accurately. The defense is getting to him way too fast.

We don’t historically produce great NFL linemen. Would you come here if you were a top OL?
I love Clemson but if I was an OL and my goal was the NFL, clemson wouldn’t be my first choice.

I mean, I entirely agree. Even our best 5 stars have struggled to make an impact in the NFL (not sure why). But on the other hand, even if we didn't have elite linemen, we had pretty elite lines during our championship runs. The 2018 and 2019 lines were phenomenal. They weren't elite on an individual level (except for Anchrum mauling Chase Young). But they worked well as a unit, were smart and knew what the plays were, and played hard and mean. I think we've lost that a lot in recent lines, even though the talent has theoretically increased.

What about run blocking? We can't get 1 yard if our lives...

There’s no way that’s accurate. I mean we can’t run or throw to save our lives! You’re spot on!

Yeah looked like he averaged right around 2 seconds of “protection” not going to be able to throw many deep routes until that improves

Interesting that some years our pass blocking is pretty good and we can't run it well. This year the rushing yardage seems pretty good, especially from the 2-back set.
Maybe we win the turnover battle this week.

It was dismal on 2st down. We got 4 yds on our first carry and I only remember 1 other for more than a yard. I will admit there could have been more but many went for 1 or none.

I saw some solid routes and catches, much more in between the hash action, and a very solid awareness most of the game by CK feeling and adjusting to pressure. Sucks on that 4th Q drive that he didn't see that one.
We gained 400+ yards against a pretty solid FSU D with that 'in spite of' O-line. That's no accident. Having some fleet feet at QB is part of any winning team's magic. Thankful we have one of those again.

CK2 will be lucky to finish the season in one piece behind this crew.

Honestly can’t wait to see how much the offense has progressed this week. Last week, despite the loss, was the best looking offense I’ve seen since TL16 was here.

I didnt particularly like the call for some of those long developing plays with the protection that he had...Couple of those resulted in sacks...Often lose sight of the fact that hes young and still developing.

I like plays that work, and dislike ones that don’t. I mean, these dudes are paid stacks of money. Every single play should be the right call and if it doesn’t work I can tell you in hindsight how bad the call was.
I’m totally with ya brutha
