I see that the average for last night was bout 40 yards. It felt like 30 yards.

Surely a guy who can boot it 70 yards off the ground can drop kick it more than 35 yards?
I know they're different skillsets, but last night was embarrassing.

yards per punt until the 22 yarder in crunch time. I would take 44 average for the season and would opt for fewer punts per game.

Good up until that rugby attempt. Cverage wasn't the best on several.

However, both of those kicks were poorly covered (possibly due to poor hang time) and they were returned by 10+ yards each so that the net was much lower.
The last two punts went for 36 and 22 yards. Those hurt in the 4th quarter (particularly since they came after a 4-and-out and a 3-and-out serie.
