hate to see that Dhop is not really used much for KC.

means this super bowl is going to be super boring for me. Would like to see him get a ring but would rather he contribute to it. I don't expect the guy to get 10 REC a game but he's hardly on the field except for their 5 WR sets and is primarily just as a decoy. Mahomes is either going to little quick guy Worthy and if he's going to possession guy he's going Kelce. There's not much wiggle room.
I mean.. it works. There's a reason they're #1 in the AFC but i was hoping DHop would be much more of a substantive player in this offense. He could be. He just doesn't get the ball thrown his way much, if at all.

He knew what he was doing when he went there. That how their offense is working this year.
Was listening to Get Up this morning and one of the guys mentioned how the role players on their team deliver when they have their one opportunity during the game. Hopefully he gets his chance on a nice endzone fade route or jump ball to convert or 3rd/4th

Well, it seemed important to note since some people seem to think Hopkins

He is still a stud, and would be a major contributor on a lot of teams. Their offense does not blend itself to throwing deep balls. They run, and throw a lot underneath with most going to Kelce. Don’t blame them, it seems to be working out very well, but if he wants more touches then getting out of KC would be his best option. If winning is his goal then he needs to stay with KC.

You never know, he wouldn’t be the first WR to have a big game in the Super Bowl after a season putting up not so great numbers

Over 500 yards and 5TD season ain't bad. He's certainly helped them out. Didn't get targeted much last night but I saw at least one first down catch. Go Nuk!

The chiefs started the game in 12 personnel and Nuk was one of the 2 receivers

Who started the game along with Worthy. As has been said he’s not as explosive as he used to be and what he adds now is his incredibly sure hands. The chiefs have 2 really good tight ends, one of which is a first ballot HOFer, that fill the possession receiver role and take most of those opportunities. He’s not gonna take the top off of the defense like Worthy so his role is limited.

It’s probably his last good chance to get a Super Bowl ring. This may be his last year in the NFL and if not he has maybe 1 year left and I think he went there to win a ring.

I think this is his chance. I think he could play a couple more years though. He still has something in his tank when completely healthy and he could be a solid 2 or 3.

Nuk 2024 with Tennessee 6 games 15 receptions 173 yards Per game avg: 2.5 catches for 28.8 yards
Nuk 2024 with KC (excluding playoffs) 10 games 41 receptions 437 yards Per game avg: 4.1 catches for 43.7 yards
The trade helped him get more involved in the games while also competing for a title. Win-win scenario.

Those KC averages over a full season would equate to 70 catches for 743 yards.

Agree. I'd love to see him go to a team in need of wide receiver help...
