Walks and poor hitting at bottom of the lineup tells a lot of the story

To advance in the postseason, you need to play your best. I’ve been watching this team all season and they did not play near their best this weekend. If they had, we would be looking forward to Omaha next weekend.

Clemson pitching - 18 walks
Florida pitching - 10 walks

Batters 6-9 in the lineup:
Clemson 4 hits, 3 rbi
Florida 9 hits, 8 rbi

These were major differences in the teams this weekend. Didn’t lose because of umpires. Anybody who watches much college baseball knows umps at this level are not good. They should consider automated balls and strikes in college these guys are so bad.

Come back next year and take the next step!
