What a masterful way to handle the stress and help players and other coaches handle it too. It was a trick I used while coaching kids' baseball. We had a tough game and a series of errors and was down a couple runs on the board during one 10yrs and under game.
I requested a time out and called everyone to second base, made the take a knee and said, 'We're losing focus here. You've forgotten what's important because you got distracted. Remember this most of all, when you're rounding out through first with your belly bout to burst, diarrhea, diarrhea. When you're sliding into home with your britches full of foam, diarrhea, diarrhea.'
They settled down and got us out of the inning.

I do not want dirty jokes being told anywhere near Clemson's campus. My wife's boyfriend brings his kids to football games with us and I'll be very upset if they hear those types of jokes

I used to do the same thing during stressful situations at work. I found it helped when people got a quick chuckle and then went back about their business.
