Not political, and voted against him, but I hope he makes a full recovery. If not though, I hope every one can be civil and respectful.

At his age and his obvious health decline as he appears frail when watching him speak or walk, he will likely never survive aggressive surgeries and/or chemotherapy. I sat many of days in a treatment center and became friends with many older people going through the same but unfortunately the older group never recovered as fast from aggressive chemo like my 40yr old body did. Those chemicals tear the body down.

Often, people over 80 either are not given chemo or are given it at a different rate. A lot of my treatments were every 3 wks, several of the older group were given every 4-6wks to help with thr quality of life.

Biden will get the best available but if its as aggressive as I heard bits and pcs about, I woukd assume prognosis is not great.

Given the known cover up of his mental decline, it is a fair question. It is reasonable to think this too was known and not disclosed, so is reasonable to ask. It is fair to ask because the question is not about Joe but about the machine around him that would hide it. One can ask that question without disparaging Joe.

I wish him a full recovery, and if not I hope for a peaceful time for him and family. But I do wonder if it was known before the election. If you dont want that question, dont deny what we all saw years ago. I'm guessing you wouldnt want me saying '86 46' about this. And you shouldnt.

but it's not shocking that this could go undetected. PSA testing is for early discovery of prostate cancer and is not as a whole recommended after age 70.

Most elderly men have prostate cancer and die with it totally undiscovered. Aggressive PSA testing in the elderly as a whole would lead to the discovery of many prostate cancers that would otherwise prove harmless or relatively so and lead to unnecessary procedures with complications.

However, by not doing PSA testing in the elderly, a few aggressive prostate cancers are missed and even if PSA testing is done in the elderly, some aggressive cancers can still be missed as these tumors are so bizarre that they produce no elevation in PSA. If a digital rectal exam is not done to detect a prostate nodule and this is not generally recommended either, these aggressive tumors can be missed.

I doubt there was a medical conspiracy to keep Biden's cancer diagnosis silent, but based on the lies and gaslighting over Biden's mental decline, it is a fair question.

It's not the first time the general public has been kept in the dark if this cancer diagnosis was withheld until now. Woodrow Wilson's condition after his stroke was hidden. FDR's inability to walk was carefully hidden with the press complicit. JFK had a very serious adrenal gland issue-Addison's disease which was hidden.

I personally doubt this prostate cancer diagnosis was hidden, but it is not unreasonable to question that it was.

I too did not vote for Joe Biden, but question that decision almost daily. I had radiation for prostate cancer 7 years ago and then later lymph node surgery but nothing like he has. It is very sad for he and his family because the decision to do nothing is a tough one since there is no guarantee of treatment success. Prayers for President Biden and his family.
