Not political, and voted against him, but I hope he makes a full recovery. If not though, I hope every one can be civil and respectful.

I have never liked Biden's political stance over the last fifty plus years but I have never wanted any harm for him. I will pray for President Biden and wish him a full recovery.

6 months to 5 years in his scenario. Somewhere in there. 5 years would be a miracle though.

At his age and his obvious health decline as he appears frail when watching him speak or walk, he will likely never survive aggressive surgeries and/or chemotherapy. I sat many of days in a treatment center and became friends with many older people going through the same but unfortunately the older group never recovered as fast from aggressive chemo like my 40yr old body did. Those chemicals tear the body down.
Often, people over 80 either are not given chemo or are given it at a different rate. A lot of my treatments were every 3 wks, several of the older group were given every 4-6wks to help with thr quality of life.
Biden will get the best available but if its as aggressive as I heard bits and pcs about, I woukd assume prognosis is not great.

Unfortunately, civil and respectful are becoming rare qualities. I don’t agree with the man’s politics but wish him the best possible outcome as he faces this.

My question is, they say its advanced aggressive prostate cancer. How was it not caught while he was president or was it and it was kept secret like his mental decline. Hope he does make a recovery but I have questions.

Given the known cover up of his mental decline, it is a fair question. It is reasonable to think this too was known and not disclosed, so is reasonable to ask. It is fair to ask because the question is not about Joe but about the machine around him that would hide it. One can ask that question without disparaging Joe.
I wish him a full recovery, and if not I hope for a peaceful time for him and family. But I do wonder if it was known before the election. If you dont want that question, dont deny what we all saw years ago. I'm guessing you wouldnt want me saying '86 46' about this. And you shouldnt.

but it's not shocking that this could go undetected. PSA testing is for early discovery of prostate cancer and is not as a whole recommended after age 70.
Most elderly men have prostate cancer and die with it totally undiscovered. Aggressive PSA testing in the elderly as a whole would lead to the discovery of many prostate cancers that would otherwise prove harmless or relatively so and lead to unnecessary procedures with complications.
However, by not doing PSA testing in the elderly, a few aggressive prostate cancers are missed and even if PSA testing is done in the elderly, some aggressive cancers can still be missed as these tumors are so bizarre that they produce no elevation in PSA. If a digital rectal exam is not done to detect a prostate nodule and this is not generally recommended either, these aggressive tumors can be missed.
I doubt there was a medical conspiracy to keep Biden's cancer diagnosis silent, but based on the lies and gaslighting over Biden's mental decline, it is a fair question.
It's not the first time the general public has been kept in the dark if this cancer diagnosis was withheld until now. Woodrow Wilson's condition after his stroke was hidden. FDR's inability to walk was carefully hidden with the press complicit. JFK had a very serious adrenal gland issue-Addison's disease which was hidden.
I personally doubt this prostate cancer diagnosis was hidden, but it is not unreasonable to question that it was.

I too did not vote for Joe Biden, but question that decision almost daily. I had radiation for prostate cancer 7 years ago and then later lymph node surgery but nothing like he has. It is very sad for he and his family because the decision to do nothing is a tough one since there is no guarantee of treatment success. Prayers for President Biden and his family.

Wonder how it went undetected to the point it spread? It’s only been about 100 or so days since he was President. Would have thought his health would have been very closely monitored.

That's what a medical expert tonight was saying. He was surprised it got this far and that it didn't show up earlier in his blood tests (elevated PSA) since they get the best medical exams as VP and President.

A guy who worked in “public service” for 50 years and stole enough money to build multiple mansions…then stood at the podium as the POTUS and called us nazis and garbage…he deserves our respect and condolences?
But someone who makes a message board post you don’t like deserves to die???
You may want to rethink this one. If you’re capable.

Haha. That was supposed to be in the movie thread. Sorry. Anyway, Joe has a cancer Gleason score of 9. 10 being the worst. He is done. Sad. He won't be around Trump's whole term.

Everyone needs to take a moment to reflect on how this thread would be going if Trump had advanced cancer and possibly only six months to live. The board trash would have a dozen threads high fiving each other. No concerns about class or anything else from the board scum who are on here whining about people simply wondering how this escaped being noticed before now.

Like I said to that other f*cking deplorable, don’t project your own lack of morals onto others. Opposition to Trump means high character and morals. We don’t wish you ill, but you could really use a punch to your cork-sucker to set you straight.

You are the board trash, so what are you talking about? Secondly, if Trump had 6 months to live people would realize it was the end and not bash him. They would realize he was done. There is no reason to bash a dying man. We aren't talking about Ted Bundy or Hitler.
