Crawford was ranked #2 behind Bryant for the 2011 class. He was also rated lower based on rivals rankings at a 5.9. Crawford isn't a bad player by any means but he is not a true pass rusher like Lawson. I think we will see a major difference.

Yeah he is a DE. Actually good to see him getting so much push at a DT position. That should translate well to the outside.

Also, cut Crawford some slack. He just finished his first real year with the team, and his pass rushing will improve.
How cool would it be to land Carl Lawson and have "the Lawson Brothers" coming off the edge, though?

He might not qualify as an EE but he would still have another semester before the 2013 season. Bryant did the same thing and started in the summer with all the true Freshman.
