the fact that they finally won 2 in a row against us needs to take a second to realize that the University of South Carolina has not only passed us, but they have lapped us! Who really knows? One thing is known though: Carolina returns 8 starters on offense next year and 7 starters (plus one injured in the preseason and thus redshirted) on defense.

does that have to do with future cu/sc matchups? i dunno. i just know that spurrier showed some compassion last night. sc only threw a couple passes in the second half after the pick 6. it could have been much worse. but, why would they care? they have the big game this week. we'll see how that goes....

I have to agree, and I am not laughing at them anymore. It took Spurrier several years and as bad as the SEC East is, he did finish first and as bad as our ACC division we were once again a laughing stock...he has delivered and our staff is making excuses. If something does not happen fast with this joke of an offensive staff, we will not beat them or anyone else with a respectable program for a while

With a big game next week there was no desire to put everything in the playbook on display. It was more than enough especially with Clemson's poor offensive performance.

Fat Brad's Chicken squad whipped Clemson 33-7 in 1996, USC's third straight win in Death Valley.
You never know what's going to happen over the course of the year.
It's absurd to say USC has lapped Clemson. No way the gap is that wide.

....I've heard that same story so many times over the years, going back to '76 when they killed us and my Gamecock classmates in elementary school were saying we'd NEVER beat them again.
They're crowing now, but things will get back to normal. Clemson dominance will continue.... always has, always will....

Yep. And the scary thing is they are just going to be better next year. Any Clemson fan that can't see this (including our President, AD, and Board Members), needs to get those orange glasses off and look at the real picture. It is just going to get uglier.

Men's Soccer - Lost 4 straight
Women's Soccer - Lost 3 straight

still the more talented team with an OC that's in over his head. Look at what Steele has done with the players we have on defense. Sure we gave up a few big plays but who hasn't. A good OC will make a huge difference. Let's just hope we get one.

From what I saw they only used the same 6 to 8 plays all night.They could have torched or secondary if they really wanted too.They shut it down after the pick 6.
