USC and the portal

This 83 yr old CU class of 61 grad would like to know if anyone can tell me how many USC starters yesterday came from portal? I think their secondary was pretty good along with the qb. In my old view they wnat from the outhouse to the almost penthouse in one year.

I think that kid who played quarterback was a transfer! He had a better game than Captain America in orange

Defense played good in the 1st half. Then got a little banged up. In the 2nd half we were playing 3 teamers.

At one point both our safety s were 3 string guys.

So the portal is not just for play makers. It can add depth.

Yesterday it looked like s Carolina had more depth at WR and on defense.

I know one RB is from wake. And that wr is from James Madison. He caught 100 balls at JMU last season.

That RB is a transfer, ran for 154 yds yesterday

Their top WR Jordan Addison was also a transfer. Proof that the portal, when used effectively, is a huge benefit. Too bad we aren’t using it properly.
