I bought the sleep number i10 flex fit 3.
I hope it's worth it, this mattress and frame cost me $9300. I have heard nothing but good things about sleep number.
A lot to pay for a mattress but I am told it will be the best sleep I've ever had.

I especially like that I can raise my head a little higher to help with sinus drainage. And I can raise my legs a little higher to help with lower back trouble.
I experiments with the sleep number (firmness) and landed on 35. I usually sleep like a rock.

I get hot then cold then hot again. This thing keeps you at the perfect temp like an egg roll on the way home from the Chinese restaurant. It's incredible sleep.

I did not buy it for the foot warmer. I bought it for the adjustable head and feet, the layers of comfort and the fact my wife and I can have separate settings on each side of the bed. Not to mention it was the most comfortable mattress I ever laid on.

I've got a Denver telluride matress and adjustable base that was like 3K total for both. Been very happy with that.
My previous mattress, about 10 years ago, was a sleep number i8 diamond or something like that and it was pretty good. I was just a little disillusioned when I set it up. They wanted like $300 to set it up so I opted for a DIY install. When I saw what was inside the matress and realized it was like $30 worth of materials I was like WTH am I paying for.

This was for the sleep number 360 i10. It has an adjustable frame so the head and legs can raise. I was a serious doubter until I tried it out. It felt like I was laying on a cloud. It immediately took away my back and hip pain. It was truly amazing. Without the flex fit frame I believe the mattress was somewhere around $6000 just for the mattress. You can go on their website and price them out depending upon the style of mattress and flex fit frame you need.

No it's the i10. We were going to get the i8 but got the i10. Typo. There wasn't that much of a price difference.

The flex fit 3 is not the mattress it is the type of frame. So our order was the i10 360 mattress with the flex fit 3 frame. We were origonally going to go with an i8 but the 10 was just a few hundred dollars more.

moab® Go to your local sleep number store, trust me, if you have back issues a sleep number will do you wonders. I know they are a lot of money, but they can do financing same as cash and it is totally worth it. It really does help with back and hip pain. I did not believe in it either until I tried it and now, I am a believer. Does not hurt to go to a store and inquire.

I’ve had a sleep number for probably 5 years now. It’s a king with the adjustable flex top. I love it! The flex top is a game changer for sure. One drawback… the sheets are proprietary to sleep number and are very expensive.

Also, I bought the mattress from sleep number but bought the adjustable flex top base from Sam’s. It works identically to the sleep number at a fraction of the price.

did your sleep number have the adjustable head and foot option? I think that is where the issue is. It cannot take a regular set of sheets due to the head and foot raising.

We’ve had the i7 360 mattress for about 5 yrs now. Doesn’t have all the heating and cooling options but it’s incredibly comfortable. I settled on a setting of 75 and rarely adjust it.

well, I am not sure what you mean by air mattress. This is not exactly a mattress you blow up with an air pump and take camping.
Second, have you ever owned a sleep number? If not, how do you know I was ripped off? Just because I did not buy a $200 king size mattress off the back of an 18-wheeler in a Food Lion parking lot does not mean I got ripped off.
Please explain the rip off I received.

These air chamber(s) us a pump to bring in air that will inflate or deflate the chamber based upon your sleep number setting. The higher the number goes the firmer your mattress will be! I will never buy a sleep number mattress!!!! I will stand behind my five-star rated king Stearns & Foster top of the line mattress purchased fifteen years ago and still holding up fine! Best mattress I have ever had! And it has plush top on both sides(which you will not find in today's marketplace) giving it four-way rotatability which I do at every linen change to promote ongevity! At my ripe age of 75 I can count on this mattress every single night for the most comfort!

others the feel it's the best sleep they ever had. My back started bothering me when I was still in my 30's! I got a Sleep Number(it was called Select Comfort back then) and in 25 plus years, I haven't had any more back trouble!
A few years ago, every time I spent the night with my then girlfriend, and slept on her fancy Temper Pedic, I could never sleep very long in one position, because of the pressure points bothering me. I never have that problem with the Sleep Number! The key is to not make it overly firm!

Good for you. We have had ours for probably close to 20 years now. Just a queen without all the bells and whistles - no raising or lowering and no temp control. I keep my side set about 60-65 and my wife has her side about 45. We have been very happy with it.
