Can't be! Wasn't he wearing Memphis gear to school?

Sure it's a school with a uniform dress code, but we were told he was sporting their gear and hat.
Who to believe?

He reminds me of Dale Davis in the video. I have no idea

if he will ever develop into that caliber of player, but Davis was pretty raw when he got here, and Djitte seems to have that same kind of raw athleticism and aggressiveness. Fingers crossed.

hope ur right....
never saw dale davis' high school film, but he was a terror on the boards and in the defensive paint his first 3 years...and developed a semi-offensive game towards the end of his college career
watching djitte's film unfortunately just not impressed at all...djambo has much better skill level as did nnoko for comparison sake.
but we need bodies and djitte may surprise us all....hope he does come!

Typical Clemson hoops recruit?

He appears to be the type of kid that has always been signed by Clemson ... tall, skinny, athletic, and raw.
It's who we are ... it's what we do.
The best players over our basketball history have begun this way and have had to develop over a couple of seasons.
Going after the "championship-ready" HS players and either missing out on them or miss-reading their capabilities has led to our current situation.
Signing guys like Djitte and coaching them up will get us back to ACC respectability if we're patient.

fell apart? The big east is dead and so are it's athletic programs. If he wants to be on TV and have a better chance of being noticed by scouts Clemson is the way to go.

The word on the street was his "handler" was trying to secure a job by "delivering" Djitte to Memphis. Hopefully this is a positive turn for us. We could sure use his size and defense around the rim.
