The guy has proven himself to be a jerk in the past but his post game comments were really complementary of Clemson and pretty spot on.
It’s human nature to remember your mistakes and missed opportunities while forgetting the times the dice fell your way. Great game Tigers!!

Look, he is a coach and just like every other coach he wants to win. Before most of the people that read TigerNet were even born, Charley Pell passed out cigars in the locker room after we beat Georgia in the late 70's and that was the start of our run to the 81 Championship. NC State just wants to win and dance the same way we do and there is nothing wrong with that.

“Those a55es did it again! They robbed me of an ACC championship that was rightfully mine. We lost to them again due to cheating circumstances that were out of my control. We are the better team (always have been for that matter), and one of these days when we have the right officiating crew on the field [they at least had the most incompetent of the ACC’s incompetent tonight], we will LEVEL the playing field with Clemson and beat them to a pulp like have been capable of doing for the past 10 years.”

I honestly think a team looks and acts like their coach…. Dave looks like a thug ,his QB looks like a thug and some of his defense looked and acted like thugs…a far cry from Rivers!!

Whined like a 4 YO about a laptop
His assistant took a swing at out player without accountability
Allowed a childish towel grabbing ploy to continue
In general he is a decent coach but also a putz. Not as toxic as jimbo but not a good guy

Yep. Coach Dave hasn’t changed but he’s been getting humbled a bit. He’s learning to be a little more diplomatic these days.

Correction. Pell didn't pass out cigars in the locker room when we beat Georgia in 1977. The game was in Athens, and he stopped the busses at a store on the drive back to Clemson and bought cigars for all players. After that, he had cigars in the locker room after games.
Most on here don't remember, but that 7-6 win over Georgia was the rebirth of Clemson football. We had only one winning season in the past 10 years and hadn't been to a bowl in 18 years.
