Unlike a lot of you fans

I don’t have a great knowledge of football coaching so I always rely on what I read on tnet to evaluate the situations at Clemson. You don’t need to be a great football mind to see that the offense this year was mediocre considering the talent available. It was very obvious to me watching the Orange Bowl that a problem does exists with the Tiger offense ….. or lack there of! You just can’t play half the game on the opponents side of the field and not score. We saw that first hand. Believe me. Dabo saw it too. None of us know how much in put, if any, that Dabo has in play calling. Wearing a headset constantly on the sidelines suggests to me that he is a part of every decision made. With that said, after the dismal performance in the orange bowl, I can see Coach S. Making an adjustment in the offensive schemes. Likely that will mean that he brings Scott back to Tigertown to work WITH coach Streeter. I have had the opportunity to meet coach Streeter and he is a wonderful gentleman. It’s easy for me to see why Dabo took him on board. They are similar in a lot of ways. Dabo is going to do what is best for the players so I will not be surprised to see Scott return to the staff in some capacity. Let’s settle down and allow the correct things to take place. Go Tigers

Agree. Have to do something. I was personally hoping for something even more out of the box than Scott but he’s a good recruiter and his experience would be a help for Streeter in whatever way Coach utilizes him (or whomever).

When you let a true freshman throw what....53 times behind THAT OL...against the #6 team in his FIRST start when you wouldn't put him in the USUCK game b/c you didn't trust him despite the fact he helped save the SYR game and DJU was hurt in the second half of the USUCK game...there are issues.

When CK runs what..20 times....and Mafah has only what...seven carries and a 5.6 YPC and is built to pound the athlete UT has on the defensive side...you got issues.

Run was working against USUCK and we don't feed it enough. Run was starting to work against UT....and we move away from it.

At this point, after reading countless times after games that that we should've run it more...I just want it fixed. Fresh innovative ideas. A proven philosophy that is innovative...not just beating ppl b/c you have a superior athlete. And that advantage is visibly waning. Can you see the difference in athleticism and speed and offensive concepts b/t uga and OSU and us last night? STARK...and CLEARLY visible to an unbiased eye. How many kids on this team would start on the 2018 team?

Quit playing CFB with one hand tied behind your back. Use ALL available tools. Better recruiting for the WR room. More depth for the OL room...when you can't sub obviously injured players..... Stubborness......

I'll say it again....CDS is changing and will be making changes coming up (which you will see). But it didn't have to be like this. Gotta constantly evolve--stay in front of the curve. Don't waste five years getting behind and then having to catch up. You can do this AND keep you core values. See BAMA as example...

Bringing him back as a co-OC would be much like making admin staff watch game film. Outward display of doing something as a reaction to criticism without really doing anything meaningful to change things.

What none you are seeing is that every team wants to make the Playoffs and win the Championship. In the 9 year history of the Playoff era there have been 14 different teams that have made the field. We have 6 Playoffs behind Alabama with 7 of the 9 years. There are 7 schools that have made it once and 1 of those, LSU won the Championship. We should always want to make the Playoffs but have to remember we do have have a permanent spot, neither does Alabama or Ohio State who is 3rd with 5 appearances. It is tough to be good enough year after year but it is great to be good enough to be in the running.

I agree with you. We have very similar observations.

I’m not a coach or a former player. All I have are my observations which I think are pretty fair.

Seeing Scott return would make Inlet Tiger very happy.
