Calling a screen pass or handoff up middle to Shipley, I am right way too often and usually they are for minimal gains

Very much hoping you are correct. As I’ve said lots of times (too many times), get the OL fixed, and the rest wil automatically improve. That takes pressure off every other part.

All I can say is I’ll believe it when I see it. I have to agree with my neighbor whose son is a grad assistant with the football team, he said the guards are soft and don’t create a push which is why the running backs are running into a wall ( I said to him). I hope we start running more to the outside.

Yep, the rest of the way will let us know if they've gotten better, or if it's the same O BS of a lot of talking about getting better when everything just seems to be the very same as when the season started.
I personally would applaud any amount of O Line improvement bc that is where we've been the softest all season, and that is the very reason that Cade has played the way that he has, he don't have time to stand in the pocket and find an open receiver if we were to have such a thing.
I will keep saying until we can see a change, but it's my opinion that our position coaching is the problem with this talented team that should be much better than anything we've seen these past 2 seasons. IMHO, these players have been playing with their talent alone, and when we see no improvement, that screams that the coaching isn't good enough to COACH UP the type of talent that we bring in at Clemson....
