UNC has had some really impressive RBs over the last few draft cycles. If like to see Dabo tap this guy and see if he is looking for a little stability. I suspect he won’t be unemployed long. https://goheels.com/sports/football/roster/coaches/larry-porter/4295 With the new coaching rules, surely we could find a spot for him. ST might be the right spot (although I’m mostly thinking about recruiting and don’t know if the billygoats had good/bad ST metrics off-hand).

I agree! Even though they haven't had top 5 RBs recruited, they have recruited solid RBs but they appear to have developed even better. Forget this years RB1 name but he was on the Heisman list after a few games then UNC had that horrible loss. Then RB1 was still making a name but then got injured for few games. RB1 is better than our RB1 and their RB2 is solid. But they have had good RBs under Mack and if this coach had been over RBs majority of time then I agree we need an upgrade in either recruiting or in coaching. I don't know which but feels like both could be upgraded. Having Mafah playing as much as he has while hurt shows pur trust level is low with backups and that hasn't happened since Hot Rod McDowell was RB1 after Ellington graduated. Our RB room was weak that year with Hot Rod being great but too small to take the pounding. Freshman behind him were not ready.
